Jamey Groomsman (Brother of the Bride) Wow, where do I start? My brother…my friend! Jamey and I have always been extremely close. It seems that we have had a much closer friendship than most siblings that we know of but I can’t imagine it any other way. For as long as I can remember, Jamey has been my best friend. He has always been the one person that I could turn to for any problem as well as go to for any new and exciting thing in my life. We have been through a lot together already and have so many wonderful memories but I am so glad to say that distant has not changed our friendship. Although we don’t see each other as much as we would like, it has not impacted our relationship in the least. Quite honestly, we still talk with one another almost everyday (one thing that I am so glad that has not changed with all of our various moves around the country) and during most conversations, we are planning when and where we will see one another again. So Jamey, I know that you truly understand how much this day and this moment means to me but, I hope that you also know how much it means to me to have you standing their behind Greg and sharing this moment with two of us. I remember the first time I met Jamey, April had told me over and over how her brother was extremely overpertective and that I needed to set a good impression. I was expecting a 7-foot high giant with a shotgun and bib overhauls. Well in reality, it was a great guy with a loving spirit that became a good friend. Jamey has helped me in many ways. Whether it is good advice or just a listening ear he has been there. I already call him my brother, thanks! | |||||||
